The goal of this study was to test the specificity of the associations between perfectionism facets and eating disorder behaviors, by examining whether neuroticism and conscientiousness mediated or moderated associations between these variables.Our research group has previously used similar criteria for identifying individuals with probable EDs with low rates of false positive diagnoses (i.e., <2%; Forbush et al., 2017, 2018).
