Instead of taking the full damage from an attack, the omnivamp stat will kick in and heal you for a bit of the damage you were going to take. This was touched on back during the 10.23 patch notes in November.

This is 10% from shieldbow and 9% from bloodline. This gets reduced down to 12.66% lifesteal on her main damage. Conqueror gives and additional 6% for ranged, so we are at 18.66%.
