June 17, 2020 ·. I've been getting questions on G3C sights. So, here is a bit more on them. The sights are glock dovetail sights. There are a few differences though. The Taurus slide is different than glock's. So, about half the sights we tested hang too far off the back. I'll attach a photo showing the problem. The front sight does screw on.Yes I did see others say they twisted the sights off if they were plastic. The G3C sight is steel. I watched a few videos on YouTube, and they all had G3’s with insert hex bolts. Even the gun shop I went to said the Taurus’s they’ve worked on previously had bolts that would accept a slotted wrench, but mine does not.Rear sight removal.
