Mun biomes. Biomes. After the Mun, Kerbin is the celestial body with the second-highest number of biomes. Science experiments can be performed in all biomes, though Kerbin's low multipliers result in less impressive results than more distant worlds. Kerbin's biomes show a loose correlation with Earth's biomes and geographic features.

Mar 31, 2020 · Thanks for all of your help so far in my career - I'm really coming along in my ability to 'do stuff' in the Kerbin system. I've made eight return trips to various Mun biomes, and a few to Minmus. But I've just received my first contract to visit another planet. Very exciting times. I'm to do a flyby of Eve, gather science, and return to Kerbin. Oct 29, 2016 · Build a rover, collect. The planet is also divided into various "biomes", based on terrain type. May 26, 2021 · There are certain trees in the grasslands on kerbin. They tend to stand out from the others. Other than that the only other one on Kerbin is a large pink crystal deposits in the mountain biome. Pretty sure Minimus only has two features as well. The Mun has a few more but different ones are mixed around in different biomes. Nov 5, 2022 · The biggest moon of Kerbin, called the Mun, has a total of 17 biomes, 7 of which are uniquely named major craters. The Mun has the largest amount of biomes in the Kerbol System. Most of the surface area belongs to the Midlands biome followed by the Highlands. All the rest of landed "bases" were actually landers with tourists doing both 5 men base and 4 tourist missions while also recovering science from different Mun biomes. I think it is a general misconception you "have to" do contracts.Mun, also known as the Mun and sometimes written as Mün, is a relatively large moon orbiting Kerbin. EVA reports and gravity scans do have biome specific science and there might be more things which can do this. There is in space just above the Mun and space high above the Mun. I would gladly use a KerbnetProbe but I'm currently running a challenge, that is bringing all of Mun's surface science in one mission without getting science from anywhere else than Kerbin itself.
