To me they don't feel thicker. However, that's just me. I know the P has longer grips than the C2 but since both guns can run the same mags (minus the 16 round for the P) I don't think the grip would be larger or that much larger if it indeed is. No, the P's grip isn't any thicker, just a little longer.

The steel frame on the P is 5oz more on it (8oz total increase between the two models). I like the thought around the added durability of the steel frame. Just not sure if I'd run either enough to show wear on the aluminum frame version.
