Honestly I think the first step needs to be to clarify the entire "Nikana" situation. Nikana stances being labeled for "Nikanas" and the Pennant and Tatsu being titled as Two-Handed Nikanas all imply that Nikana is the name of a type of weapon and not a weapon itself.
