IMO Rosco is better. I have 2 BA and 2 Rosco and out of the box, the first 3 shots on paper while zeroing were touching. Not saying BA is bad, but I’m very impressed with Rosco. The Rosco barrels were 8.2” 300blk and a 7.5” 5.56. I’m looking to replace my 10.5” and 16” with Rosco barrels. Man those are short barrels.

The QPQ treatment does not add any materials to the bore, rather it treats the bore as it comes from the factory. Like Chrome lining, the treatment greatly increases corrosion and wear-resistance. However, one advantage of QPQ, the process treats both the inside and the outside of the barrel.

I went with the 16" and it weighs in under 20oz which if memory serves me the BA Hanson 16" .625 is 22oz and the BCM enhanced lightweight .625 is 22oz. I paid just under $200 shipped for mine.
